  • Direct and oversee quality assurance and control of water / wastewater treatment projects. Provide technical expertise as QA/QC reviewer or technical advisor to ensure compliance with contracts, drawings, specifications, codes, statutes, rules, and regulations, as well as Arcadis’ quality and safety practices.
  • Support marketing and proposal phases of projects including preparation of and participation in winning proposals and interviews, as well as developing scopes of work and budgets.
  • Supervise and support the work of others while mentoring junior and mid-level engineers and technical staff and ensuring the development of Arcadis’ capability in the discipline(s).
  • Build and maintain a strong professional reputation as an individual and for Arcadis. Keep up to date with developments in the industry sector and with technical and legislative developments and seek out opportunities to develop a strong professional profile at a regional level (e.g., conference presentations, publications, and participation in technical committees).
  • Lead knowledge transfer and development of staff within area of expertise.
  • Working closely with a Arcadis Certified Project Manager, oversee and/or lead the technical delivery of very large projects, complex projects, or specialized projects ensuring client satisfaction, and good communication and collaboration between Arcadis colleagues.
  • Actively engage with Southeast client account teams, supporting the expansion of business development opportunities and client relationships to strategically grow Arcadis’ Southeast portfolio, leveraging existing and new client relationships. Some travel will be required.
  • Manage technical coordination and leadership role on larger or complex projects, or projects with higher associated risk.

  • Minimum 20 years of water / wastewater treatment experience.
