Assistant Surveyor

Overview

Support senior surveyors with cost, measurements, procurement and budgeting.

Tasks

-Prepare and submit interim applications for payment and follow up on timely receipt. -Interpret drawings and specifications to support change management and cost assessments. -Conduct accurate site measurements and maintain proper records. -Support in managing subcontractor procurement, payments, and final account agreements. -Monitor project budgets, variations, and monthly cost reports. -Assist in preparing cost forecasts, valuations, and tender submissions. -Develop a working knowledge of contract law and project obligations. -Foster strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.

What You Bring

-Experience in a similar role or relevant academic qualification. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. -Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills. -Appropriate and valid CSCS card. -Study of construction related qualification preferable. -Valid driving licence. -GCSE level or equivalent qualification in English and Mathematics.
