Tasks

-Managing Subcontractor performance on site and escalating issues to the project manager. -Develop and maintain a quality log for each subcontractor -Ensure ongoing compliance with the following during construction phase: Environmental Plan / Waste Management Plan / Construction H&S Plan / Emergency Plan / Project Schedule. -Plan, manage, and monitor the construction work while promoting high standards. -Carry out site H&S inspections/audits as required by Company Minimum Requirement -Review of all third party RAMS / SSOW and production of methodology sequencing -Delegate, manage and coordinate activities in line with the Minimum Requirements standard -Communicate daily briefing with all supervisors, employees and contractors -Ensure all plant equipment are fit for purpose and inspected. -Investigate events of an incident on site. -Ensure all PSCS duties are being fulfilled on site. -Report on programme progress identifying risks and opportunities to project completion.

What You Bring

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Construction Site Manager based in Mayo who will take responsibility for the commercial and technical management of our project on site. Role will oversee all onsite activities ensuring all tasks are completed in the safest way possible within specification, on time and on budget to the highest quality standards and in line with Company Minimum Requirement. -Knowledge of the water industry and related construction methodology, equipment and processes would be beneficial -The ability to lead, manage and proactively participate in project teams -Strong organisational and planning skills -Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills -IOSH Safety, Health and Environment for Construction Site Managers (SHE) -The ability to gather information and consult with the correct team members to resolve problems as they arise. -5 years + construction experience preferably in trades/supervision role -3-5 years + experience working in multi-discipline site based project -Design documentation, project programme and construction methodologies for project.
