Tasks

Our Sheet Metal Ductwork Fabricator is responsible for fabricating and assembling of ductwork systems used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) applications. The Sheet Metal Ductwork Fabricator will perform tasks that involve physical labor and assembly at a prefabrication warehouse. This position will require skilled use of hand and power tools, as well as machinery to cut shape, and assemble sheet metal components according to specifications and blueprints. This is all to be done using the appropriate equipment and implementing the required safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.

What You Bring

OSHA 10-hour Fall protection training EM-385 40-hour Forklift/Manlift training and certificate One or more years of experience with pre-fabrication/assembly activities. Completion of Sheet Metal Apprenticeship program or equivalent Sheet Metal experience. Scissor lift/boom lift certificate A high school diploma or GED is the preferred minimum formal education for this position.
