Field technician surveying utility poles and equipment for design estimating.

Tasks
-Carrying all equipment out in the field- up to 40 pounds. -Locate, field, and document detailed information of all aspects of the poles on the assigned route. -Identify bonding and grounding requirements. -Responsible for the quality of your individual work -Measure attachment heights, structures dimensions and span distances. -Perform a visual & detailed collection of data and inventory of pad mounted equipment to include sizes and structures. -Communicate with team members daily. -Measure distances from existing/proposed OSP facilities. -Maintain a safe driving record -Perform field data collection utilizing approved collection materials to include laptop/iPad, gps and other electronic devices as necessary. -Adhere to safety practices and guidelines -Responsible to maintain a safe and healthful place of work -Follow all Safety protocols and practices established by company safety policies. -Travel to commissioned worksites and survey utility structures to complete assigned projects. -Self-check all work and the work of others as assigned. -Identify all possible safety hazards while out in the field. -Responsible for meeting the quality requirements as outlined per project working on.

-Personal protective equipment must be used when and where required, and properly maintained. -Possess a working knowledge of OSHA requirements to the induvial job responsibilities. -Understand and strictly adhere to all quality requirements without deviation appointed by company and customer alike. -Must have knowledge in California Public Utilities Commission, GO95 document accordingly.
