-Demonstrates a basic understanding of accounting processes -An articulate and persuasive communicator, both one-on-one and in front of large groups, with excellent verbal and written communication skills -Technically astute and strategic in thinking to manage the activity within the team -Completely familiar with and advocates for the company’s standards for quality control and compliance -OHDOT exposure preferred -Ability to inspire, motivate, build and manage relationships across the company -Excellent knowledge of fundamentals in specialty areas -Bridge experience required -Minimum 15 years’ progressive engineering experience required; previous project or team management experience preferred -Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required; Master's degree preferred -Professional Engineer (PE) license required -Advanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) -Ability to resolve matters timely and lead projects to completion with a sense of urgency -Expert knowledge of the respective engineering discipline with a proven ability to practically apply best practices -Proficiency with MS Office software required -Ability to demonstrate leadership skills and effectively work in a collaborative environment -Understands QA/QC procedures and basic business practices as well as laws related to engineering -Proven ability to lead a team -Experience with project budgeting preferred
