Tasks

-Design and build automation components and systems, such as tooling, conveyors, and fixtures. -Work with sales teams to provide quotes and support for new automation projects. -Monitor automation performance during production runs to ensure efficiency and quality. -Partner with external vendors to meet system build and production goals. -Collaborate with production and quality teams to test and improve automation systems. -Coordinate with engineers and managers on equipment specifications for automated work cells.

What You Bring

-Preferred degree in mechanical or electrical engineering/technology. -Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. -Proficient in CAD and Microsoft Office Suite. -Experience in automation, program management, and programming. -Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. -Good math skills, including fractions, percentages, and ratios. -Ability to work independently and follow instructions in various formats. -Attention to detail and accuracy. -A four-year degree with 2+ years of automation experience, or a two-year degree with 4+ years of automation experience. -Proficiency in mechanical systems and AutoCAD Electrical. -Knowledge of electrical systems, PLC programming, and controls engineering. -High school diploma or GED required.
