The Role
Overview
Drive and deliver freshly mixed concrete safely to job sites.

Tasks
-Operate a multi-axle mixer truck safely, obeying all traffic laws -Clean and wash vehicle to include the removal of concrete buildup on all exterior parts of the mixer -Operate a radio to communicate with company personnel -Attend safety meetings as scheduled by management -Responsible for reporting all incidents/injuries to management as soon as they occur -Conduct daily pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections -Adhere to all safety regulations including company policies, State, and Federal regulations -Deliver ready-mix concrete to various job sites -Adhere to all safety regulations including company policies, state, and federal regulations

What You Bring
-Ability to work in extremes of hot and cold weather -Must be willing to work according to customer demands -Must have the physical ability to: climb, stoop, bend, squat, frequently lift extension chutes (up to 60 lbs.), stretch, drive/sit and shift gears -Good attendance and punctuality a must -Safe driving record (will have to provide DMV H-6 printout) - no serious moving violations within the past 36 months; no more than two moving violations within the past 24 months -Must have familiarity with slumps -Experience in ready-mix or heavy construction industries -Must have current Commercial Class A or B driver’s license with airbrakes and tank endorsement -2+ years of commercial driving experience -Must be able to work a flexible schedule with flexible hours, hours vary; overtime work, weekends and nights, may be required -Must have a current Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Certificate -Ability to read a map and understand verbal and GPS driving route instructions
