The Role

Overview

Operate front-end loaders to transport raw materials safely at the concrete plant.

Tasks

-Coordinate with the production team to supply materials according to the production schedule. -Assist with inventory counts and ensure that material supplies are adequate for production needs. -Operate front-end loaders and other heavy machinery to transport raw materials, including sand, gravel, and cement, to the mixing plant. -Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including wearing proper safety equipment, to minimize the risk of injury and accidents on site. -Load and unload materials from trucks and into hoppers, bins, or conveyors as required. -Work closely with plant management to identify operational improvements and implement best practices. -Keep the working area clean and organized to maintain a safe working environment. -Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure operational safety and efficiency. Report any malfunctions or needed repairs to the maintenance team promptly.

What You Bring

-Valid Driver’s License -Be willing to assist other team members and departments as needed, including performing manual labor tasks. -Physical fitness and the ability to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions. -Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in industrial or construction environments. -High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in heavy machinery operation is a plus. -Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. -Ability to perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues. -Proven experience as a Loader Operator or in a similar role operating heavy machinery, preferably in a concrete plant or similar industrial setting. -Willingness to undergo SRM’s pre-employment screenings.
