Ready Mix Order Taker

Overview

Take and schedule ready‑mix concrete orders, coordinate deliveries and provide customer service.

Tasks

-Constantly review schedules and customer orders throughout the day to anticipate business trucking demands -May be required to work long shifts, including evenings and/or overnight, weekends and holidays to help provide 24-hour service -Schedule orders using the Command System into the proper plants -Complete order intake and assist customers in identifying proper products needed for specific end uses -Immediately report any delivery problems for quick resolution or mitigation -Complete daily reports -Taking orders from customers via several platforms, input orders into the system as they are requested

What You Bring

-2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or within dispatching -Must have the ability to work independently and make decisions while providing excellent customer service to both our customers and our drivers -2+ years of ready mix scheduling experience required -Must be able to work weekends as needed -Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen -Command Alkon Series software experience preferred -Bilingual a plus - must be fluent English -Must be able to pass a background check -Prior experience using dispatch software -Knowledge of the Phoenix and surrounding areas required -Computer experience, including but not limited to Microsoft office products
