Lead procurement contracting for Customer Energy Management, overseeing contracts, negotiations, and compliance.

Tasks

-Maintain contract oversight for complex and critical categories of goods and services. -Drive negotiation strategy with internal customers. -Ensure contracts adhere to best practices and corporate policies. -Ensure compliance with all regulatory obligations. -Foster coordination with other procurement functions. -Lead the procurement contracting process for Customer Energy Management. -Resolve disputes and monitor compliance with contract terms. -Analyze, develop, negotiate, and administer contracts. -Promote and support a culture of total safety. -Collaborate with the Customer Energy Management team and contract owners. -Maintain professional relationships with client suppliers.

What You Bring

-Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management tools. -Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risk. -Understanding of procurement governance, processes, and policies. -Ability to present complex topics effectively to broad audiences. -Experience with legislatively mandated energy savings. -Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. -Previous people management or coaching experience is a plus. -Strong customer service, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. -Excellent knowledge of contracting concepts and commercial law. -Familiarity with eProcurement Source-to-Pay tools, especially Ariba. -Bachelor's degree in finance, supply management, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience. -Strong presentation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. -10+ years of experience in Procurement, Contract Management, or related fields. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Contract management, redlining, and contract review expertise. -Ability to work collaboratively and independently. -Experience with customer energy and service contracts. -Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. -Strong analytical and interpretive skills. -Experience in a regulated industry is desirable. -Ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments.
