The Role

Overview

Operate production machines, manage inventory, and ensure quality shipments.

Tasks

-Organize inventory in an easy-to-access process -Complete quality assurance testing on goods and products -Assemble and prepare goods for shipment -Maintain proper storage for material and product inventory in and around the production machines -Utilize machinery such as forklifts to load orders -Teamwork: Collaborate closely with all Alumi-Cover Associates on the production team and cross-functional teams (planning, delivery, sales) -Move materials or completed products and packages to established locations -Monitor the efficiency of the production line to ensure timely job completion and shipment -Production Efficiency: Follow Alumi-Cover processes to attain efficient production runs -In conjunction with the maintenance team, maintain the quality and upkeep of warehouse equipment including machinery

What You Bring

-Physical Stamina: Capable of standing for extended periods, working in non-climate-controlled spaces, and lifting objects within an established weight limit -High school diploma or equivalent -Experience in a production or warehouse environment preferred -Familiarity with operating manufacturing machinery and forklifts -Time Management: Effective time management skills -Technical Skills: Good technical and mechanical skills -Accuracy: Ability to follow directions accurately and attention to detail -Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
