Tasks

-Manage structural specific project requirements (Scope, Budget, and Time) -Prepare construction cost estimates and compare with industry benchmarks -Develop and maintain client relationships -Prepare engineering studies and reports -Perform structural engineering analysis and development of design calculations -Oversee/Manage all Structural Engineering aspects of projects -Develop structural related fee proposals and contracts -Mentor and direct junior engineers and BIM staff -Work independently and oversee other team members to develop Construction Documents (Plans and Specifications)

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from ABET accredited four-year University -Competency with engineering in wood design, timber design, steel design, concrete design, masonry design and structural detailing to match -5+ years of job-related experience -Advanced understanding of Structural Systems and Design Process -Ability to effectively manage time -High level of collaboration and communication -Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Cushing Terrell will not sponsor applicants for work visas. -Advanced knowledge of Auto CADD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook -Licensed Professional Engineer (or ability to obtain by comity) in the state of the hiring Cushing Terrell office -The majority of the time, a person in this role will be sitting in an office with limited physical requirements. This may require individuals to bend, stretch, twist, and reach.

-Actual pay will be determined based on the candidate’s years of experience, licensure status, location, level of proficiency, and other job-related factors (as permitted by law). This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus.
