Overview

Prepare and ship products, operate RF scanners, ensure safety and quality.

Tasks

-Examine products to ensure damaged products are not shipped -Lift products to place them on to shelves -Communicate with coworkers to share expertise -Monitoring - Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action. -Monitor equipment to ensure proper functioning -Communicate with supervisors to resolve conflicts -Active Learning - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. -Follow safety procedures for equipment to reduce potential for accidents -Remain standing for an extended period of time up to 8 hours -Use RF (Radio Frequency) units to scan barcodes -Use box cutters to cut packaging materials -Management of Material Resources - Obtaining and seeing to the appropriate use of equipment, facilities, and materials needed to do certain work. -Lift products to place them into boxes -Quality Control Analysis - Conducting tests and inspections of products or processes to evaluate quality or performance. -Lift products manually to place them on to pallet

What You Bring

-Production and Processing - Knowledge of techniques for maximizing the effective distribution of goods. -Active Listening - Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making. -Must have a High school diploma or equivalent -Explosive Strength - The ability to use short bursts of muscle force to throw an object or propel oneself. -Vision - The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). -Comprehension - The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. -Deductive Reasoning - The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense. -English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. -Able to perform constant movement of the arms -Static Strength - The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects. -Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc. -Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. -Transportation - Knowledge of principles and methods for moving goods including the relative costs and benefits. -Gross Body Coordination - The ability to coordinate the movement of your arms, legs, and torso together when the whole body is in motion. -Inductive Reasoning - The ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (includes finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events). -Understand quota requirements to accomplish expected production level -Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes meeting quality standards for services. -Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

Benefits

-No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
