Tasks

-Collaborate with electrical engineers and vendors. -Manage project budgets and timelines. -Hydraulic, thermal, and code calculations. -Coordinate with government authorities for permits and approvals. -Design and oversee piping, ductwork, and mechanical systems. -Act as lead mechanical engineer on projects, guiding design and execution. -Review and approve engineering work for accuracy and compliance. -Oversee installation, inspections, and commissioning. -Specify and select equipment (pumps, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, relief valves). -Provide training and final documentation to clients.

What You Bring

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead projects from concept through commissioning. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll manage design, budgets, schedules, and ensure compliance with industry standards. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and regulatory authorities to deliver high-quality mechanical systems for complex facilities. -Office-based with site visits (may involve dust, noise, chemicals, uneven terrain). -Must be physically able to walk, climb, crouch, and lift up to 25 lbs. -Knowledge of piping materials and design. -Analytical problem-solving. -Time management and ability to deliver on budget/schedule. -Experience: 7–10 years in mechanical engineering at senior level. -Travel occasionally (5–20% domestic and international). -Licenses: EIT required; PE registration strongly preferred. -Degree: Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering. -Soft Skills:Strong communication and leadership. -Occasional domestic and international travel.
