Overview

Manage inventory planning, optimization and analysis across the network using SAP/Kinaxis.

Tasks

-Prepares data-driven inventory target levels( water tank execution) -Evaluates exceptions/scenarios in inventory based on inventory health -Participate in S&OE meetings and report out inventory progression for ME and MPS visibility. -Lead and cooperate with cross functional teams to drive inventory reduction projects and report out monthly status -Run scenarios in Kinaxis and simulates the impacts of inventory policy changes on total inventory levels across network Monitors and drives improvement in inventory performance metrics -Drives execution of MRP Priorized action messages (push out/cancel) with all network nodes -Conducts root causes analysis on pain points and recommend improvements/corrective action plans -Work on materials management processes and drive improvement projects with a consultative approach -Accountability for product segmentation/ assortment update for inventory planning purposes in consultation with Network planner ( raw ) and SIOP (FG). -Monitor current and projected inventory levels across the network vs financial targets and inventory entitlement, identifying reasons for deviation and driving corrective actions. -Provides planning decision making support to Network Planners and Network Schedulers -Responsible for calculation, analysis and recommendations but decision making lying with SIOP & Network Planner -Coordinates approval of inventory policy changes -Monitors DC and plant service levels and the impact of adjusting safety stock and other parameters -Monitors and maintains inventory related master data parameters -Prepare and align inventory expectations and FC as report out for the monthly FC process. -Responsible for setting inventory parameters for finished goods in DC (Distribution Centers) / plants and raw materials/sub assemblies in plants as per expected service levels in our core systems including SAP, Kinaxis etc. (ROP, SS, MOQ?, Min/Max , Replenishment Policy -Run inventory scenarios in Kinaxis based on S&OE/RCCP inputs and align with network planners

What You Bring

-Proficie skills level in MS Office: Advanced Excel and Power Point presentations. -Proficient and good hands on exposure on ERP (Preferred SAP) -Willingness to learn Kinaxis from super user perspective & train the materials management users as per need -Excellent communication, presentation skills & demonstrated experience of working on projects with stakeholders from different geographies -MIS reporting – Daily Inventory & receipts, Tier 4 metrics (Leading indicators), >8 weeks inventory analysis, Non nettable inventory, E&O, ageing, DOH, water tank etc -Technology Savyness (Knowledge of Kinaxis RR will be an added advantage) -E&O/Slow moving inventory tracking and actions for improvement -Solid understanding of SIOP, Material planning,Inventory Mgt, MRP & demand / supply challenges -Preferred exposure into Power BI, SQL and PowerBI query building.
