Tasks

-Mentor and train junior and midlevel staff, supporting their development and contributing to team growth. -Build strong relationships across Arup’s infrastructure, buildings, and consulting teams to pursue new opportunities. -Work with leaders to set design direction, manage commercial outcomes, and uphold rigorous quality reviews. -Lead and supervise architectural design and project delivery, ensuring excellence and integration of sustainable design principles. -Collaborate on large multidisciplinary projects, maintaining compliance with regulations and ensuring design intent is reflected in technical documentation.

What You Bring

-Holds a recognised Master’s degree in Architecture and preferably be a Registered Architect with LAM in Malaysia. -Demonstrates collaborative working style, able to guide teams across multiple projects and disciplines. -Brings sector experience in science, industry, rail transport, infrastructure, and ideally data centres, masterplanning and urban design. -Has over ten years’ experience in leading design practices with a strong focus on design and delivery. -Understands the connection between design intent and detailing through to construction.
