Overview

Tasks

-Responds to and rectifies customer issues or occupant comfort complaints or building automation issues in a timely manner. -Communicates with internal project managers (i.e. other Veregy departments) and verifies project expectations and execution standards are met. -Designs, programs, monitors, maintains, and optimizes building automation systems and graphical user interfaces. -Creates and manages project implementation schedules to deliver projects on time. -Manages project budgets and reports progress. -Participates in project development and cost estimation for various digital services and building automation system offerings. -Develops close-out or system documentation for the customer. -Assists with and manages building automation or digital service focused projects by leading progress meetings, supervising subcontractors, ordering material, and managing budgets.

What You Bring

-Continued Education and Trade Certification Sponsorship (Specific Positions). -3+ years’ experience in building automation system design, implementation, and project management -Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management and staff. -Ability to analyze and solve problems. -Ability to prioritize tasks and tactfully negotiate priorities with end users. -Minimum of 1 year experience with building automation system project development or estimating preferred. -HVAC Install experience preferred. -DDC Controls experience required. -Knowledge of Veregy’s services and processes is required which can be obtained through intellect, technical inclination, and dedication to gain such knowledge. -Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. -Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed. -Ability to collaborate with other engineers or clients to methodically solve complex problems. -Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. -Tridium Niagara experience required. -Ability to multi-task. -Niagara Certification is preferred. -Ability to innovate with new processes and energy efficient systems. -Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time/workload. -Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or software) from a four-year college or university; or three+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. -Knowledge (Intermediate to advanced) of various operating systems, software products (e.g. MS Office, etc.), is required.
