Overview

Manage oilfield facility decommissioning projects, overseeing subcontractors, safety, and compliance.

Tasks

-Plan and oversee any surface reclamation activities required after well abandonment. -Procure additional follow-on work of varying types from clients/stakeholders. -Ensure that all oilfield facility decommissioning activities adhere to applicable environmental regulations. -Effectively communicate with stakeholders; including regulators, contractors, and other engineers. -Oversee oilfield decommissioning activities involving multiple subcontractors and internal team members. -Promote an environment where Atlas team members establish relationships and build trust with clients and stakeholders. -Manage quality and Health Safety and Environment to achieve zero incidents. -Assist with planning, daily activities, oversight, and reporting. -Communicate project changes with project management team. -Proactively identify project issues and develop options for corrective action. -Identify and mitigate potential hazards during oilfield facility decommissioning. -Manage logistics, resources, and personnel to support oilfield facility decommissioning projects. -Provide detailed notes and figures of work scope completed each day.

What You Bring

-Must be local to Bakersfield, CA or the surrounding area. -Experience with complex remediation projects. -OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER certification. -Experience collecting soil samples for waste profiling and/or soil characterization. -Minimum 10 years of experience focused on aboveground oilfield facility decommissioning work, including pipelines and ASTs. -Ability to understand project scope based upon task order objectives and contract. -Familiar with SharePoint, MSFT Excel/Word, and PDF documents.
