The Role

Overview

Manage pre‑contract cost planning, tendering and commercial negotiations for projects.

Tasks

-Manage tender processes, including preparation of Instructions to Tenderers, tender analysis, and contract documentation. -Lead commercial negotiations and attend design and commercial meetings to support pre-contract stages. -Oversee feasibility, concept, schematic, and detailed design cost planning and estimating. -Lead preparation of Bills of Quantities, Pre-Tender Estimates, and Monthly Cost Reports. -Drive Value Engineering to optimize costs and project efficiency.

What You Bring

-Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized university. -Excellent English technical writing ability and comprehensive project background. -Experience with FIDIC Contracts preferred. -12 to 15 years of post-degree relevant experience in pre-contract and commercial management. -Proficient in QS software (Cost X or similar). -Demonstrates strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. -Consultant and/or client-side experience of at least 4 years. -Sector experience in hospitality, residential buildings, or infrastructure.
