Tasks

-Conduct engineering investigations and planning work by completing well-defined tasks including collection and analysis of data; perform routine calculations, and participate in evaluating the feasibility of alternate solutions. -Oversee and manage design and production of construction details, plans, specifications and estimates. -Direct and mentor less-experienced support staff. -Help build relationships with key staff of clients, potential clients, teaming partners and contractors. -Collaborate with clients, subconsultant partners, technical staff, and managers across multiple disciplines to develop quality deliverables within schedule and budgetary requirements. -Support business development efforts including proposal pursuit efforts. -Provide engineering analysis and design of stormwater management solutions for transportation projects.

What You Bring

-Drainage experience. -8+ plus years of relevant, progressive transportation design experience. -Demonstrated knowledge and application of DOT design standards and specifications. -Must have Professional Engineering Registration with the State. -Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills. -Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment. -Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering. -Valid driver’s license with approved/acceptable driving history required. -Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines.
