  • Perform engineering investigations for system updates and upgrades, review field survey data and engineering designs.
  • Ensure you and your family receive the services needed to support your mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

  • Utilize telecom-specific pole analysis tools such as SPIDA Calc, QuickPole, and PLS-CADD.
  • Conduct constructability reviews for fiber networks in collaboration with the engineering team.
  • Review and advise on telecom easement rights, permitting requirements, and joint-use facilities.
  • Arrange and carry out inspections of joint-use facilities within the scope of work.
  • Make technical recommendations related to telecom distribution systems.
  • Assist in the creation and review of the bill of materials.
  • Prepare and report job estimates, including instruction orders and activity breakdowns, factoring in structures, spans, soil types, components, and field conditions.

  • Post-secondary education in Electrical/Civil Engineering, Architectural Technology, or a related field is considered an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in English for technical reporting and stakeholder engagement.
  • Professional interaction with all levels of staff, from front line to leadership.
  • Training in safety and experience in the construction industry.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines with poise and confidence.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with emphasis on thoroughness and attention to detail.
  • Able to perform in a fast-paced environment; repetitive data entry and prolonged sedentary positioning may be required.
  • Strong understanding of telecom infrastructure and distribution systems.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload, managing various responsibilities such as meetings, correspondence, and coordination.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
