The Role

Handle complex employee relations issues, advise managers, and liaise with unions.

Tasks
As the ER Advisor, you'll be the first point of contact for complex employee relations matters, supporting managers and employees to achieve fair, consistent and legally compliant outcomes. You'll work closely with trade unions and employee representatives, ensuring collaborative and constructive relationships -Contribute to policy development and continuous improvement initiatives. -Support managers in early intervention, mediation, and conflict resolution to drive positive outcomes. -Ensure compliance with employment law, internal policies, and collective agreements. -Build and maintain effective working relationships with trade union representatives. -Lead and advise on formal casework, ensuring processes are compliant and best practice is applied. -Provide expert guidance on complex ER issues including disciplinary, grievances, capability, absence, and appeals.

What You Bring
-Strong working knowledge of NI employment law and best practice. -CIPD qualified (Level 5 minimum). -Proven experience managing complex ER casework in a unionised environment. -Excellent communication and influencing skills.
