The Role

Overview

Tasks

-Review and approve project reports and serve as the direct point of contact for the owner -Perform periodic site walks for quality assurance, safety compliance, and project tracking -Maintain a list of defects and omissions and monitor the safety program -Inspect workmanship, materials, and equipment for contract conformity -Perform punchlist oversight and participate in zero defect walkthroughs -Coordinate client outage/shutdown procedures and advise on construction work issues -Assist in preparing safety reports and conduct construction testing -Review construction contracts and prepare a written testing schedule -Address safety concerns and prepare inspection reports to a level acceptable to the Government -Notify leadership of test failures and plan corrective actions -Maintain accurate and detailed written records of project progress during all stages of construction -Conduct labor interviews to verify correct worker classification and wages -Represent the client in alignment with contract requirements and project deliverables -Confirm adherence to safety protocols and address contractor safety concerns -Maintain professionalism in attire and communication at all times on-site and in meetings -Lead project teams, assign tasks, and hold team members accountable

What You Bring

-4 years of experience in quality control or construction management -Excellent communication and leadership skills -Experience working on federal -managed construction projects -Strong understanding of construction contracts and safety regulations -Construction Quality Manager CCQM or USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) Certification preferred -Experience in federal construction projects -Experience working in and around historic properties -*OSHA 10-Hour Training -BA/BS + 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
