Tasks

-Partner with BIM and commissioning teams to ensure installations match drawings, models, and approved submittals. -Support start-up and field troubleshooting for control systems, instrumentation, and PLC/HMI applications. -Verify materials, oversee as-built deliverables, and maintain all QC documentation and performance reports. -Develop, implement, and manage Project Quality Control Plans (QCPs) aligned with Thermo’s QMS and client standards. -Drive Financial Strength: Deliver quality efficiently and continuously improve. -Lead Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and commissioning activities (Levels 1–3). -Serve as the on-site QC representative, leading inspections, resolving non-conformances, and delivering root-cause analyses. -Drive Customer Success: Take ownership, communicate proactively, and exceed expectations. -Mentor junior engineers and technicians on quality standards and continuous improvement. -End-to-end impact: Own the Quality Control Plan and ensure flawless execution across design, field, and commissioning.

What You Bring

-Technical Skills: Proven QCP management, FAT/commissioning, PLC & HMI troubleshooting, and familiarity with BIM coordination. -Education: B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or Controls Engineering—or equivalent technical experience. -Tools: ACC Build (or similar QC platform), Microsoft Office Suite. -Soft Skills: Decisive, detail-oriented, and excellent communicator with a collaborative approach. -Other: Valid driver’s license; eligible to work in the U.S.; fit for duty at all times. -Experience: 4+ years in control systems engineering, including 2+ years in quality oversight or commissioning roles.
