Manage and prep cutting tools and workholding for machine shop operations.

Tasks

-Source and purchase necessary cutting tools, cutting tool holders and accessories, and standardized Workholding -Organize high quantities of different cutting tools and Workholding for traceability and rapid deployment to machining assets -Administer vendor managed inventory (VMI) -Build cutting tool and Workholding packages based on tool lists -Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications for mechanical and electromechanical parts -Digitally build and manage cutting tool assemblies in the tool management system (TMS) -Preset cutting tool assemblies using a Zoller tool setter, using RFID for preset data transfer

What You Bring

-3+ years experience operating and programming CNC tool presetters (preferably Zoller – Haimer also applicable) -3+ years' experience in machine shop, tooling management environment -High school diploma or equivalent -Experience managing RFID tracked cutting tool assemblies -Experience using software-based tool management systems (preferably Zoller – Wintool, TDM, and CribMaster also applicable) -Experience with industry machining standards, regulations, and techniques
