Tasks

-Support project reporting requirements and provide training on project management tools -Compile and track job costs and forecast monthly revenue streams -Perform performance analysis and forecasting to support project decisions -Coordinate engineering studies, submittals, RFIs, and change order requests -Prepare project progress billings and client progress updates -Analyze schedule performance, critical paths, and delays to recommend corrective actions -Develop and monitor schedule and earned value baselines -Maintain the master construction schedule baseline, logic, and updates by collecting data from project teams and contractors -Collaborate with site management on financials, site progression, and performance of operations -Prepare and contribute to daily, weekly, and monthly project status reports -Establish and maintain cost control systems and procedures with monthly reporting -Review subcontractor payments, approve material invoices, and issue change orders -Partner with estimating teams during planning and project handoffs -Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward the company’s Zero Injury principles

What You Bring

-Excellent interpersonal skills -Exceptional team building skills and ability to collaborate with groups throughout the company -Ability to comprehend complex assignments -Organizational skills and ability to manage simultaneous tasks/assignments -Strong proficiency with scheduling software, particularly Primavera(P6) -High proficiency in Microsoft Excel -Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Two+ years of related experience in project controls or cost scheduling and planning -Experience with project management and reporting tools -Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience -Knowledge or ability to learn earn value management(EVM) -Demonstrated expertise in cost control, forecasting, earned value management, and billing procedures -Ability to work independently with minimal supervision -Certification from the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering(AACEi), Project Management Institute(PMI), or a related industry institute is highly preferred
