Tasks
-Identify, develop, and scale new business opportunities across coatings sectors (OEM, Vehicle Refinish, Industrial, Architectural), working closely with commercial, R&D, and marketing teams. -Develop and implement technical strategies for product promotion, benchmarking, formulation, and application—particularly across liquid resins, crosslinkers, and additives. -Analyze market dynamics including competitor activity, customer trends, and emerging technologies to inform proactive strategic planning. -Deliver regular strategic updates to regional and global leadership teams on customer success, project conversions, and business impact. -Represent allnex at industry forums, technical conferences, seminars, and customer innovation sessions—positioning the brand as a thought leader. -Lead India market engagement as the senior ambassador of allnex, managing key accounts, opportunity pipelines, and strategic relationships. -Strengthen distribution networks by guiding local channel strategy and ensuring profitability, reach, and operational excellence. -Partner with global teams to influence product innovation and adapt global solutions to meet local market demands.

What You Bring
-12–15+ years of experience in the chemical or coatings industry, with a strong track record in technical leadership, business development, or product strategy. -Deep domain expertise in Auto OEM, Vehicle Refinish, Architectural, Industrial, and Solvent/Water-borne technologies. -Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to work cross-functionally across cultures and disciplines. -Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Paint Technology. -Master’s Degree or MBA in a related field is highly preferred. -High-level strategic thinking paired with an agile, entrepreneurial mindset. -Prior exposure to multi-industry, matrixed organizations and complex decision-making environments. -Confidence in leading presentations, hosting technical workshops, and representing the brand across multiple forums. -Proven ability to bridge technical innovation with commercial growth—ideally with hands-on experience in product development, technical solutions, and customer engagement.
