  • Prepare and coordinate first-principles estimates (direct and indirect costs) for civil infrastructure tenders.
  • Build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Produce clear, accurate, and high-quality tender documentation and presentations.
  • Collaborate closely with design, construction and engineering teams to fully understand project scope, delivery methodology, and client expectations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the estimating function.
  • Build impact that lasts – work on iconic projects shaping Australian communities.
  • Support the end-to-end bid process — from pricing and methodology to risk assessments, tender reviews, and submission.

  • Proficiency with estimating software (experience with CostX highly regarded).
  • A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project cost drivers.
  • Experience in estimating and cost planning in the building environment.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical and communication skills.
  • A collaborative mindset with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
