Tasks

-You will operate and maintain the wind tunnel facility, and all testing equipment ensuring safe and reliable performance -Key to this role is your ability to analyse and report on test results, providing clear recommendations to support future product development -You will undertake a range of type, strength and pull tests on clay & concrete tiles, associated ranges of clips, fixings and accessories, again to ensure they meet industry standards on safety and quality. -Prior to any testing you will build and configure roof rigs and test setups in line with British and CEN standards -Testing is about consistency in results so you will own the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) process to ensure consistency and compliance -You will conduct annual equipment calibration, maintain accurate records, and ensure test traceability

What You Bring

Tile Type, Roof Fitting & Clip Testing -AUTOCAD knowledge (advantageous) -Comfortable performing hands-on, physical activities as part of testing setup and rig building -Proven ability to maintain accurate records and documentation -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn and develop -First Aid and Forklift Truck Licence (advantageous) -Full UK driving licence (essential) due to occasional travel requirements -A background or prior experience in a science, engineering, or quality assurance role -Organised and methodical, with strong time management skills
