The Role

Overview

Perform sub‑assembly and final wiring for low/medium voltage switchgear and breakers.

Tasks

-Work with large power cables, ensuring correct crimping methods, and assemble components on panels per layouts or drawings. -Record job transactions, read BOMs, follow layouts and assembly drawings. -Set and use torque wrenches correctly, adhering to developed processes and seeking ways to improve. -Perform sub-assembly and final assembly wiring with high accuracy and workmanship, including proper stripping and crimping techniques.

What You Bring

-Associates Degree or technical training in area of responsibility -Proven record in Quality and Productivity -Adherence to Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policies, with a commitment to continuous improvement and be a strong team player. -Proficiency in reading and working with schematic drawings, layouts, and wire lists with minimal supervision. -Basic proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking. -Experience using standard hand and power tools, including pneumatic and battery-operated tools, wiring tools, and accurately reading a tape measure. -1+ years’ experience with commercial or industry wiring -Possess some knowledge on electrical clearances -1+ year of experience in mechanical assembly or a related mechanical field. -Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization.
