  • Engineering and maintenance functions, factor acceptance testing site installation and commissioning
  • Ensuring when plant is handed over its safe, reviewing maintenance
  • Will work between maintenance team to ensure decisions made are in best interest of engineering function and alignment with other facilities
  • Focus on maintenance – preventative maintenance, spare parts assessments
  • Direction of maintenance personnel working on the plant
  • Management of a computerised maintenance management system
  • Failure mode analysis – assessing what can be done to prevent failures

  • Project Engineering or Operational Readiness experience
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in Maintenance/Process Engineering.
  • A logical/analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Prepared to undertake a concentrated period of learning to become competent in the role with both the site’s Maintenance and utilities team and the project.
  • Conduit between project and site engineering functions
  • Experience/exposure to Capital Projects or Pharmaceuticals manufacture (cGxP systems) will be highly regarded GMP Experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Operational experience in the requirements of the code of Good Manufacturing Practice [cGMP] in a Pharmaceutical environment.
  • Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office suite of programs.
  • Will work with SAP Data entry and E&I team (don’t need to be a SAP guru)
  • Degree in an appropriate discipline (mechanical, electrical, chemical or other related discipline) from a recognised tertiary education institution, together with eligibility for professional membership of the relevant college of the Institute of Engineers.
  • Familiarity with computerised maintenance management systems (i.e. SAP)
  • Personal organisation and work planning skills.
  • Maintenance/Process Engineering experience specifically with highly automated pharmaceutical equipment.
  • Pharmaceutical Bulk Processing or Fill/Finish experience
  • A sound knowledge of plant diagnostic methods and reliability engineering.
