Tasks
-access or use the online application process and need an alternative method for applying -Formulate oversize and overweight permits to meet DOT guidelines; ensure loads are meeting height and width requirements as well as route verification -Relay work orders, messages, or information to work crews, supervisors, or field inspectors using cell phone or two-way radios -Manage and maintain trucking revenue spreadsheet; submit pro-rate sheets and timecards -Support, promote, and practice the Company’s core values, vision, and mission; follow code of ethics, workplace conduct, safety, and other established policies -Collaborate with other employees, internal/external customers/suppliers, and local/state/federal representatives -Plan and coordinate trucking dispatch and scheduling while targeting utilization efficiency and profitability -complete any part of the application process -Plan and coordinate required repair and preventative maintenance on trucking equipment -Conduct routine safety inspections/observations at job sites -Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE) as required -Regularly required to use hands to feel, handle and manipulate objects, write, use a keyboard and/or mobile device -Create GeoZones and shifts in FleetWatcher software to supervise job progress and efficiency -Maintain regular communications with drivers and customers to ensure delivery deadlines are met -Embrace the Company’s safety culture, actively support all safety initiatives, and adhere to defined accountabilities implemented by the Safety Steering and Continuous Improvement teams

What You Bring
-Regularly required to stand and walk across uneven terrain -1-3 years of practical experience as a Trucking Foreman, Dispatcher, or similar environment -Class A CDL with endorsements and valid medical card preferred -Ability to interact professionally with diverse groups of people -Ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing environment with frequent deadlines. -Regularly required to communicate (talk and hear), and perform tasks requiring visual acuity -Occasionally required to lift and /or move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance -Regularly exposed to all outdoor weather conditions, dust, and airborne particles; exposure to high temperatures -High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred -Required to work from a seated position for extended periods using a computer in an office environment -Basic digital literacy using MS Office and similar programs; experience using dispatching programs a plus -Self-directed and highly motivated requiring minimal direct guidance -Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl -Required to safely operate various vehicles and equipment related to requirements of the role
