Tasks

-Collect data and gathering information to support design decisions. -Perform field work/construction observation under the supervision of a senior engineer/designer and/or construction manager. -Interpret and verify compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards and practices. -Analyze proposed project solutions to ensure reliability, resource efficiency and cost effectiveness. -Perform civil design and technical tasks on projects under the supervision of the Project Manager or Project Engineer. -Perform data analysis and calculations to analyze and design civil system components. -Work with other engineering disciplines and professionals in the coordination of the project.

-Ability to participate and collaborate in a project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought. -Communicate professionally and effectively, both verbally and written, with project team members, clients, and contractors. -Ability and interest in working on a variety of renewables (solar, wind, etc.) type of projects for various clients. -Seeking a motivated individual who is, enthusiastic, flexible, innovative, organized, and possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills. -Basic understanding of general concepts of civil engineering design. -Proficient with of Microsoft Office Suite and basic understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D. -Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and take direction. -Ability to interpret sketches, drawings, building programs and other similar materials. -Must have good driving record, and valid driver’s license.
