The Role

Tasks

-Regularly sit, climb, and use hand signals or equipment; occasionally stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, or reach above shoulder height. -Follow all company safety protocols and report any concerns to leadership. -Attach and detach a variety of trailers, including pup, belly dump, side dump, transfer, tilt/transport, as needed. -Drive trucks safely and professionally on highways, local roads, job sites, and in the yard. -Lift and move objects weighing up to 25-50 lbs as needed. -Check vital vehicle functions (fluid levels, tires, lights, controls) for optimal operation. -Load and unload equipment and materials with care and efficiency. -Monitor gauges and controls throughout vehicle operation. -Keep detailed delivery logs and complete billing paperwork accurately. -Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections, maintaining thorough DOT-compliant documentation. -Uphold product quality standards and assist with minor maintenance; report major issues for prompt resolution. -Use truck tarps to cover loads when required. -Be a team player, support co-workers and contribute to a positive work environment. -Obey traffic laws and follow dispatch instructions precisely. -Maintain daily mileage logs and ensure clean, orderly vehicles.

What You Bring

-Strong communication skills—verbal and written. -Prepared to wear PPE per OSHA/MSHA safety protocols (Face Shield, Safety Shoes, Coveralls, etc.). -Must be at least 18 years of age. -Comfortable working in all weather conditions; exposed to jobsite hazards such as moving machinery, high places, airborne particles, and loud environments. -Minimum 2 years’ experience in dump/tractor/trailer driving preferred, but motivated candidates willing to learn are welcome training provided! -Work primarily outdoors, often in extreme weather and environmental conditions. -Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background checks. -CDL A or B license required based on position applying for; Hazmat endorsement preferred. -Professional, courteous attitude towards colleagues, supervisors, and the public. -Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends when necessary. -Expertise in safe operation of trucks and equipment under varied conditions. -Ability to perform basic math and keep accurate records. -Commit to regular, dependable attendance and flexibility with schedules and assigned duties. -Experience securing heavy equipment and oversized loads is a plus. -Frequently required to climb, balance, and perform tasks involving physical agility. -MVR must meet company and DOT standards. -Detail-oriented with excellent judgment and problem-solving abilities. -High school diploma or GED required. -Must have specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, to operate equipment safely. -Ability to interact professionally with customers, collect payments, and assist with problem resolution.
