Overview

Tasks
-Performs intermediate PM tasks on items such as roof drains, shop cleanup, and all other assigned areas. -Remain current with industry standards, best practices, and new technology. -The individual in this position will periodically walk, kneel, sit, crouch, reach, stoop, read/see, speak, push, pull, lift, stand, and finger/type. The frequency of each action varies by workflow and field activity. -Trains other General Maintenance Technician/Trade partners with intermediate activities such as painting and priming of interior and exterior walls, hanging, and finishing sheetrock, hanging white boards, installing fixtures, etc. -Constantly reads written communications and views mail submissions. Will also need to read blueprints and take/verify field measurements. -Lead and perform mid-level HVAC and electrical mechanics in performing intermediate preventative maintenance (PM) tasks on equipment, examining for wear and tear, and making required repairs as needed. -Climbing – Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding and ramps at various heights. -Stooping – Bending the body downward and forward by the spine at the waist. -Adheres to applicable safety rules.

-Must be able to communicate effectively. -Verification of Work Authorization and Employment Eligibility -Basic computer skills such as internet, email, electronic manual, etc. -CPR & First Aid Certification. -Physical Exam (if applicable) -Able to focus on attention to detail and follow instructions. -Balancing – Ability to maintain body equilibrium to prevent falling and to walk, stand or crouch. -Poses a Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) Certification. -OSHA 10 Certification or higher. -Background Checks for Badging/Security Clearances (if applicable) -Heavy Work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. -Knowledge of safety procedures and equipment. -Visual acuity and ability to operate a vehicle as certified and appropriate. -Sometimes operates a computer or tablet and other office machinery, such as a calculator and phone. -Grasping – Needs to apply pressure to an object with fingers and palm regularly. -The ability to read, understand and communicate, both verbally and written -Valid Driver’s License. -High school diploma or equivalent GED. -Walking - The person in this position needs to frequently move about the jobsite. -Reaching – Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction for various lengths of time. -Three (3+) years’ experience general maintenance work and/or a combination of education and experience.
