Overview

Clean, service, and refurbish HVAC air handling units and duct systems.

Tasks

-Documents service and cleaning actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records. -Operate and maintain all duct-cleaning equipment. -Access, remove, and clean air distribution components and equipment. -Keeps personal equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; preventive maintenance; calling for repairs. -Maintain an organized and well-stocked Company vehicle. -Sell ancillary products/services in conjunction with the performance of duct cleaning service. -Prepare all job-related paperwork in a timely manner. -Establishes service by studying system requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts; completing installation; performing acceptance tests. -Complete AHU Refurbishing, which includes (clean and sanitize AHU, filtration upgrades, coating of inside of AHU, and replacement of coils, motors, and bearings if needed). -Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques, recommending system improvements.

What You Bring

-Must be willing to work night shifts when needed. -Have a basic understanding of duct mechanics and how it affects Indoor Air Quality. -Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. -2 years or more related experience; or equivalent education and experience. -Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment. Ability to use power and hand tools, able to use thermometers, pressure gauges, and other testing devices to evaluate HVAC systems. -Excellent communication skills required to interact with customers. -Must be willing to submit to pre-employment screening, including a criminal background check and drug screen. -Ability to read operation and repair manuals for HVAC systems. -Mechanical experience is a Plus. -Must have a good driving record. -Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written. -Ability to follow instructions and have strong mechanical skills.
