Tasks

-Design capability additions and improvements, working across processes, methods, tools, data flows and training -Assess our existing capability against these requirements for its effectiveness, efficiency, vulnerabilities and longevity -Communicate resulting capability changes to affected practitioners, influencing their communities to drive effective engagement in their ways of working -Identify and/or retire any defunct capability -Implement the additions and improvements locally, or work with key partners such as our software development teams to implement them in our executive systems

What You Bring

-Experience in statistical in-service/life data analysis methods (e.g. System Reliability Analysis, Weibull & other parametric distributions, Monte Carlo Simulations) -Proven ability to apply logical, analytical and innovative thinking on a range of technical problems. Proven ability to handle complexity, novelty and ambiguity. -Engineering or Numerical degree (or equivalent with experience) -Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail. -Good understanding of the turbo machinery of aero-engines: their development, operations and failure mechanisms -Result driven, being able to work with minimal supervision -Experience of delivering projects through cross-functional teams -Good communication skills to be able to cooperate with and influence both internal and external parties, at all levels of the business -Skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment or as a sole contributor on identified projects. -Experience with agile IT development in order to work effectively with professionals of that field
