Tasks

As an MEP Estimator, you’ll play a key role in preconstruction and project planning—ensuring accurate cost projections, comprehensive take-offs, and reliable budgets. You’ll collaborate closely with management, project teams, and trade partners to deliver competitive, well-informed estimates for a wide range of projects. -Maintain and analyze cost histories and pricing data to improve accuracy over time. -Coordinate estimating activities with senior management and fellow estimators. -Provide feedback and cost analysis to support project strategy and pricing decisions. -Create and manage milestone budgets throughout the preconstruction phase. -Develop scope sheets for bidders and maintain bid tabulation documentation. -Support multiple concurrent projects with efficiency and attention to detail. -Prepare complete and accurate material and quantity take-offs for all MEP scopes.

What You Bring

-Experience using On-Screen Takeoff, PlanSwift, or similar estimating platforms. -Familiarity with Sage Estimating Software (or equivalent) preferred. -Minimum 2 years of multifamily project experience preferred. -Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Mathematics, or a related discipline. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset. -Proven experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection (MEP/FP) estimating or general construction. -Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. -Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
