Tasks

-Focuses on safety and safety practices first and foremost during all task assignments. -Serves as a coach by monitoring lower echelon mechanic and helper production and quality workmanship. Continually provides training in areas needing improvements to ensure quality, production and safety. -Ensures the quality and profitability of each project by eliminating waste in materials and labor whenever possible. -Manage materials to ensure timely completion of the work scheduled. Ensures optimal material consumption. -Lift items weighing up to 60 lbs.

Requirements

What You Bring

-Able to stand for long hours -Able to use basic tools (hammer, tape measure, etc.) -Eyesight correctable to 20/50 -Experience with PVC, Copper, Steel Pipe, and Fixture Carriers preferred. -Strengthens skills to encourage improvement in other plumbers or fitters. Emphasizes commitment to continually improve company procedures and processes by the use and development of measurements, analysis and subsequent changes to procedures in the best interests of the company. -Minimum 4 years prior construction or plumbing experience. -Must provide their own basic hand tools. -High School or GED Equivalent -Journeyman Plumbing License preferred -Med Gas Certification preferred
