Description

• Ensuring the correct and safe method is in place when digging around buried services
• Management of sub-contractors
• Responsible for ensuring the correct plant and materials are on site to manage a programme of works
• Responsible for ensuring risk assessment briefings and toolbox talks are carried out
• Making sure operatives are working effectively and in a safe manner

• Expert knowledge in all aspects of groundwork elements (ground beams, drainage, sub-structure concrete, externals, roads, oversite housing slabs, cut and fill earthwork activities etc.)
• Completion of the IT induction and training program is required within the first 1 to 3 months of employment.
• Commercial awareness of site activities
• First Aid at Work Certification
• Able to read drawings to understand build details
• Able to work well with other trades and operatives on site and support the programme delivery on time.
• Able to confidently engage with operatives to drive Quality, H&S and Production standards
• Reliable & punctual.
• CSCS Supervisor Qualification
• CITB 5-Day SMSTS
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent client communicator and proactive approach
• Able to read programmes set by Site Management and convert to working practices to achieve target dates
• Right to work in the UK.
