-Will assist in performing detailed or routine engineering assignments such as assisting with the definition of technical specifications, basic design problem resolution, providing product support and assistance to other internal departments. -Refers problems and/or questions to engineering management or senior engineers.

What You Bring

-Position required ability to work in a normal office environment and may require occasional/regular exposure to production plant environment with welding, machine and fabrication operations. -Position may require extended periods of operating a personal computer as a normal part of job duties. -Ability to handle responsibilities with effective interpersonal skills and to effectively interface with others inside and outside the Company is required. -Possess some structural engineering knowledge, material properties and particularly structural steel frame design, plate or steel stack design. -Must have strong communication skills and some background in basic engineering design. -Position requires the constant and consistent exercise of intellect, judgment, and ability commensurate with intern positions in similar industries or situations. -Position requires regular exercise of problem solving skills.
