Tasks
-Suggests practical adjustments to improve workflow or clarity of outputs. -Applies judgment to ensure schedules are complete, logical, and reflective of project execution. -While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear; climb stairs and/or ladders and walk on uneven ground. -Communicates effectively with diverse stakeholders, both orally and in writing. -Customizes reporting structures to meet different clients and stakeholder priorities. -Actively contributes to peer learning by sharing process improvements and lessons learned. -Keeps current with company and client scheduling standards. -Develops complete, logic-driven project schedules that reflect the planned sequence of work. -Balances input from multiple stakeholders while maintaining logic integrity. -Produces layouts and filters for reporting using software configuration and customization -Engage effectively with project management, field teams, and trade partners to confirm sequencing and durations. -Applies analytical thinking to evaluate schedule delays and potential recovery options. -Communicates effectively to ensure alignment with field operations. -Properly identifies critical and near-critical activities, slippage trends, and potential risks. -Tailors visual materials to the intended audience. -Trains others in applying improved scheduling practices and digital workflows. -Prepares clear, concise schedule documentation — including milestone charts, phase maps, and summary logic diagrams — that help project teams understand sequence and critical path. -Actively participates in emerging software trials and training sessions. -This role may have supervisory responsibilities over Assistant Project Schedulers. -Communicates schedule status and analysis findings clearly to the project team and supports corrective decision-making. -Regularly reviews logic ties, durations, and calendars for accuracy. Demonstrates commitment to maintaining a high-quality schedule as a reliable management tool. -Identifies recurring inefficiencies in reporting, updates, or coordination. -Works with the project team to update and re-sequence activities as directed to support mitigation plans and safety risks.

What You Bring
-Is familiar with local relevant regulations and industry standards. -Maintains strong understanding of construction means and methods, sequencing, and field operations. -This position will commute locally to an office or project site with occasional regional travel. -Displays problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions. -Solid background in construction trades and technical knowledge. -Proficiency with scheduling software including P6, Microsoft Project (Microsoft Office Products), and/or Phoenix PM. Exposure to BIM/VDC teams on 4D and 5D schedules is a plus. -Is proactive in communicating bottlenecks and potential risks to project teams. -Minimum 5 years of commercial construction experience with 2-3 years scheduling experience. -Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering is preferred, but strong work experience will be considered. -Demonstrates a solid understanding of Clune's project scheduling software, including schedule creation and development. -Applies an understanding of construction methods, trade sequencing, and project delivery approaches to improve schedule realism.
