Tasks
-Lead a talented, growing team in a critical safety-focused service area. -Stay current on locating equipment, tools, methods, and leak detection technologies for gas operations. -Provide leadership and direction for LSC’s Utility Locating and Leak Detection operations, ensuring excellence in safety, quality, and performance. -Develop and implement processes, procedures, and training to guide field professionals in accurate and efficient daily execution. -Oversee project logistics to ensure field work is completed safely, on time, and to client and regulatory standards. -Drive the growth and development of the Utility Locating business, including team leadership, financial management, and client relationship development. -Support and manage operational budgets, staffing, and resource allocation in alignment with financial goals and growth plans. -Collaborate cross-functionally with Integrity Management, Operations, and Project Management teams to deliver integrated client solutions. -Work with clients who value quality, integrity, and partnership. -Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and consistent communication through regular check-ins and performance reviews. -Provide coaching and professional development for supervisors and technicians. -Shape the future of LSC’s expanding Utility Locating and Leak Detection business. -Promote and uphold LSC’s commitment to health, safety, and quality, ensuring all team members are engaged in creating a safe work environment.

What You Bring
-Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and build strong client relationships. -Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. -Supervisory or field leadership experience in related areas such as survey, inspection, construction, or other oil and gas field services will also be considered. -Strong understanding of utility permitting, safety practices, and regulatory standards preferred. -Willingness to travel within a region. -5+ years of experience in utility locating and/or leak detection (oil & gas experience preferred).
