Repair & maintain heavy equipment for utility industry, traveling to various sites.

Tasks

-Responsible for the repair and maintenance of heavy on road/off road equipment used to service the utility industry. -Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools in good working order. -Work safely while performing repairs or maintenance on a job site in various weather conditions. -Troubleshoot/diagnose equipment breakdowns in a timely safe manner and repair as needed.

What You Bring

-Able to lift more than 50 lbs. -Must know or be able to learn how to use computers for: -2-year Diesel College Degree -Must be able to perform work in most if not all the following areas: -Willing to work outside of the normal work schedule including weekends, holidays, and overtime as required for the position. -Certifications or experiences in any of the following would be a plus: -Must be able to learn and understand safe work practices for equipment set up and grounding procedures for equipment repairs that may be near energized systems. -Requires 2 years of experience in heavy on road/off road equipment repair. -Must be able to follow Company safety rules and all other Company policies. -Fluid Power Certification -ASE Certifications -Ford, Cummins, Paccar, Navistar, CAT, John Deere, Kubota, Detroit, Allison -Able to perform rigorous physical labor. -Must have or be able to obtain a class A CDL permit/license within the first 90 days of employment. -Must have own basic tools required to perform equipment repairs. -Altec/Terex Aerial Devices -Must be able to work outside, frequently in inclement weather -Able to travel long distances on short notice, when required. -Able to work for extended periods in various locations, when required.
