The Role

Overview

Support and coordinate disaster resilience projects, response teams, and proposals.

Tasks

-Establish and continue critical internal and external relationships across reaming partners, industry groups and stakeholders within the Disaster Resilience Industry. -Support deployment training for rapid response and disaster resilience projects. -Support project efforts, requiring complex coordination across multiple business lines, systems and processes. -Track Disaster Resilience Service Line metrics globally. -Support updates, maintenance, and creation, as required, of standard operating procedures. -Support and coordinate with project teams on tasks to ensure schedule and budget are maintained. -Support project teams with the implementation of projects. -Serve in a response role during an emergency activation. -Support the development and implementation of a xBL Disaster Resilience Strategy & Growth Plan. -Track project deliverables using appropriate tools and provide reporting. -Monitor and report on progress of assigned projects and tasks. -Support the preparation, deployment, and operations of AECOM rapid response and recovery teams. -Support with capture and proposal development. -Support project plans to drive project goals, budget, and deliverables. Identify project tasks, workflows, and resource requirements.

What You Bring

-Must have the ability to deploy to remote locations for short-term project assignments. -This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization, now or in the future. -6+ years cumulative activation / deployment experience associated with hazardous event or disaster (federal, state, or local government). -Familiarity with the National Incident Management System (NIMS), Incident Command System (ICS), and Emergency Support Functions (ESFs) frameworks, Protocols and Systems -Ability to develop Project schedules and budgets and understand and monitor financial health of the Project. -A working knowledge of disaster resilience related regulatory and statutory compliance. -BA/BS + 6 years of experience in emergency management, disaster resilience or a related field or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. -Ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders of the organization to share information, make decisions, and/or implement effective solutions to problems or complaints. -Familiarity with Project Financials and Controls
