Overview

Manage and oversee requirements engineering processes for large infrastructure projects.

Tasks

-Help the preparation and implementation of system safety assurance documentation and requirements management processes. -Undertaking reviews as required of other contractor technical submittals (including task briefs and work package plans) relating to requirements management. -Performs technical reviews of contractors’ systems engineering processes and procedures, system architecture diagrams, etc. -Providing help to compliance checking as per the Requirements Management processes and providing inputs to the design verification activities. -Allocating requirements to design packages and agreeing allocation of the requirements to the airport and subsequent design and construct contractors. -Preparation of a Requirements Management Plan for the project and implement in accordance with the associated requirements. -Undertaking reviews of contractor inspection and test plans relating to requirements management. -Undertaking reviews of contractor design submittals relating to requirements management. -Implement project requirements and subsequent design and delivery contractors using appropriate tools (i.e. DOORS). -Capturing new requirements, managing changes to project baseline and establishing traceability to project requirements. -Ensuring requirements management stage works considerations are addressed in the contractor's design. -Providing advice as required on requirement management systems and processes pertinent to airport operation. -Ensure that robust requirements management process is undertaken within the design and construct contractors and identify any risks in the design. -Support the specification and review of functions and characteristics of the operational airport identifying the system hazards and system assurance which will need to be addressed.

What You Bring

-Demonstrated system engineering knowledge. -Skill in working and communicating effectively, both orally and in writing, with other project functional groups. Proven ability to build strong relationships with team members. -Experience implementing requirements in major infrastructure projects. -Experienced user of requirements management tools (i.e. DOORS). -Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 8-10 years progressive infrastructure experience. In lieu of bachelor’s degree 12-14 years of relevant work experience. -Experience of technical engineering and interface management within an infrastructure project. -Proficiency in the use of applicable computer programs, including PowerBi.
