Assistant Manager - Cost Controller

Tasks

-Set up and maintain the annual overhead cost recovery rate. -Capacity and utilization Reporting. -Oversee the monthly costing process performed by the costing team. -Inventory Provision working and Inventory Reporting -Support Statutory and other audits. -Ensure accuracy and address any errors promptly. -Conduct cost variance analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions. -Cost centre reporting. -Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements. -Review Product cost Routing with Plant Managers -Collaborate with relevant departments to allocate overhead costs accurately. -Ensure correct standard cost calculations for products. -Review negative margin SKUs (Stock Keeping Units) and collaborate with plant managers to address cost-related issues. -Support Annual Budgeting activities. -Compare product costs across different manufacturing plants and sub-contracting locations.
