Tasks
-Support Project Managers and Engineers with engineering design tasks for various projects -Perform independent research and delegate changing priorities -Adhere to Horrocks safety standards to uphold a safe and efficient environment -Work in a collaborative team environment and deliver accurate work that is error-free -Manage project data files from various sources -Prioritize work to meet various project requests and deadlines, answering to various engineers and project managers -Apply technical expertise and be able to work with a project team on conventional and unconventional projects -Perform civil engineering design and associated calculations and interpret plans from other engineering-related disciplines

What You Bring
-Must be able to work independently with the ability to accomplish multiple tasks, with competing priorities -Have a strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines -Be able to develop designs and documentation using MicroStation ORD or Autodesk Civil 3D or other design software (MicroStation ORD is preferred) -Passed Fundamentals of Engineering Exam -Ability to travel and perform fieldwork on occasion -2-4+ years of experience in civil design is preferred. Entry-level candidates will be considered -B.S. in Civil Engineering – EIT -Be proactive and responsive in effectively communicating with colleagues and clients, both in-person and virtually/remotely
