The Role
Overview
Design and validate mechanical assemblies, enclosures, and fixtures for pressure sensing devices.

Tasks
-Participating in FMEA and Process Mapping activities to identify and minimize design risks and optimize design outcome -Designing and validation of mechanical assemblies / fixturing and enclosures to meet agreed customer and product specifications -Contributing to longer-term design process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency -Developing and releasing of design documentation to ensure verification and quality

What You Bring
-Be able to produce 2D engineering drawings with the approval & release process -Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with experience in procedure development -Be proactive and use your initiative, able to work unsupervised and make sound engineering decisions. -Have a solid design foundation & an understanding of traditional manufacturing methods (DFM). With an understanding of GD&T -Have had exposure to working in multiple disciplined (electrical, mechanical) design teams -Have a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering with proven experience in a mechanical design engineering environment -Have proven analytical & problem solving skills -Have good knowledge of 3D CAD tools (Solidworks or Pro/Engineer)
